for BANDS to look and sound kool in. Plus lots of stuff around the site.
COST:
The car show portion of the day is free to the public.
Registration for vehicles: $10 includes
Shirt/dash plaque and 2 admissions to the Rock-N-Roll Rumble!

The Hoedown is open
to all ages, but the Rock & Roll Rumble at Silk City is 21+ only!

GENERAL
INFO:
Last year we had well over 100 cars (plus a few dozen just parked around),
so this year we'd like to pre-register that many! We are working
on more entertainment, special guests, featured vehicles, live bands,
free giveaways and surprises through the day.
If you have any ideas, or
wish to be of help in any way, please contact
us. This includes companies interested in sponsorship,
promotions, giveaways, and advertising in our event magazine
"Hoedown Lowdown". We plan to expand the show + awards,
into more specific classes, while retaining a sense of humor and fun!
Besides
promotion, volunteers are needed for setup, cleanup, and security.
We appreciate any help you can give!
We are
accepting pre-registration forms now.
This years Hoedown is open to 1975 or earlier American made cars, trucks,
antique, classic, kustoms, hotrod, lowriders, cruisers, daily drivers,
beaters, projects, and more. Motorcycles, scooters, and bicycles
are any brand, any year welcome.
Our main
requirement is that these vehicles are DRIVEN! No trailered cars,
no kit cars. We believe the fun in all this is driving, cruisin',
and racin' around in some wild, kook, krazy kromed kustom or car!
If you ever wanted to show your car before, but thought it wasn't good
enough...trust us, it is! Also, if you have greasy hair, and a
cool car, and don't come, you are a big smelly poser.
